The Creation Begins

Hello, imperfect moms! (and anyone else stopping by)

My name is Courtney and I live in metro Atlanta. I am 36 years old and have two children. I have a 5 year old daughter and a 1 1/2 year old son. Becoming a mom is really when my creations took off. I have always loved being creative and using my imagination (Must be the Cancer in me). Art was always my favorite subject and doing projects in school was where I excelled. I’ve never been a perfectionist and I’m often sloppy with my work. But it truly brings me joy and I love every minute of it.

Let me give a disclaimer. This all new to me. I have never made a blog before and I am learning as I go. I am not a writer and I am not tech savvy. I am also not a photographer or particularly good with editing photos. What you will see here will be regular photos in a normal setting and me describing the things I’ve made, in my own words. I will be adding more things to this blog and connecting to other formats such as Pinterest and Instagram. I hope you can follow me there too. My goal is to share the ideas that we have done and hopefully bring inspiration into your home as well. Remember, you don’t have to be “Etsy worthy”‘or perfect to create. Your kids will love and enjoy all of the heart you put into any project. Let’s do this!
